Today, we read a tutorial explaining the different parts of flash. It didn't go into major detail, but it did describe it in a broad sense. Flash is a complicated program, and you have to basically teach yourself to learn anything anyway. Therefore, a step-by-step tutorial that takes you through every single aspect of the program will not be of much assistance in actually putting the program to use. The tutorial, was, however, helpful in introducing the main parts of Flash to beginners.
Flash has 6 main parts. The first is the main stage, a blank canvas that can be adjusted to show different colors, sizes, etc. The second part is the menu, where you choose functions that you want to perform. The third and fourth parts are the panels, which help you keep everything organized while working on Flash. Next, the fifth part, is tools. Tools are used to customize and improve your game. Finally, the sixth part is your timeline. Learning these six main parts of flash will be very helpful when we begin to create our game.

Great blog! I feel like you really took time to read and absorb the concepts so that you will be ready to begin creating flash projects. I'm excited to see what "my LEM girls" are going to create when ready to start on the games.
